Clearly you're not filtering each list into its own folder.
Filtering is more than just nifty, it provides exactly what you
want. If it's in the pygtk folder, it's related to pygtk.

I wish all mailing lists were configurable. In other words, there
would be a way to set the mailing list to send me messages
without the '[pygtk]' mangled subject, but those who want it
could turn it on. Of course, this still wouldn't solve the
problem for me, because i would still have to deal with '[pygtk]'
in replies, but it's a nice compromise, i guess.

Reply-To, OTOH, should definitely not be mangled at all.
