I just installed BeOpen-Python 2.0 final on my machine at home
(DeadRat 6.2). Pygtk works fine (without even a recompile), though
there is a C API mismatch warning whenever _gtk is loaded. I imagine
that if I were to recompile, that would be resolved.

The situation may well be different on Win32 -- I heard lots of
mumblings about C modules needing to be recompiled a few weeks ago,
but that may have changed before the release.
