[pygtk] row of LEDS (like checkbuttons)

Hi all noob warning
I have looked but maybe not using the right words :(
I have been using 8x gtk.CheckButtons to represent the setting and 
clearing of a byte of binary bits, however now id like to represent a 
readonly binary byte. like a row of Red circles or something. I could 
use gtk.checkbuttons with no update but i would like it to look 
different so users dont think they can click and change it.
