Answering here what you asked to me in another mail:

Using the old's Unix school script ;-)
$ cat test-help.py
#!/usr/bin/env python
import gconf
import gnome
import gnome.ui
import gnomecanvas
import gnomevfs
import bonobo
import bonobo.ui
import bonobo.activation
help(gconf)
help(gnome)
help(gnome.ui)
help(gnomecanvas)
help(gnomevfs)
help(bonobo)
help(bonobo.ui)
help(bonobo.activation)
And then:
$ ./test-help.py > python-gnome-api.txt
