[pygtk] gnome-canvas in windows

Hi,
I have for long been looking for a possibility to use gnome-canvas under 
windows. As I understand it, it is a unique package in the whole gnome 
stuff, as it does not depend at all on other gnome libraries.
Now I have found that it is available for windows and is also usable 
from Mono (http://www.evoluzion.org/?go=tips).
Is there any plan to support Python bindings for this widget in windows?
Or does anybody have experience building these? (I wasn't able to get 
far with the build process in windows, but I have no experience with it).
