That's just a coincidence and should not be relied on :)

Well... it would be nice... even nicer would be a gtk_widget_set_cursor
that takes care of the gory details... Someone should file a bug
(enhancement request) with gtk+ :)

Note that the busy waitcursor gory details are even more hideous and
should also be abstracted away:

In short: file bugs (_now_, since project ridley is a good chance to fix
it with) :)
