[pygtk] GNOME Goal: Theme-friendly icons

According to the GNOME wiki[1], the latest GNOME goal is to make all
icons in applications theme-friendly.  However, it doesn't list any
info for doing so in PyGTK+, and the page is immutable.  I spent some
time last year making sure my own application's icons are
theme-friendly, so is there any way I can help expand this to PyGTK+
implementations as well?
