The words will not be truncated and it will wrap around and you will
get many lines. This was the case when I executed your sample code in
my macine (FC4).

You may need to select a reasonably larger item-width. If you can not
afford wrap-arounds then you can choose different layout (HORIZONTAL)
and have the item-width greater. I dont think that horizontal layout
look horrible with more item-width.
