[pygtk] MDI-ish interface?

Probably you may not pack your child windows inside the main window...
But that's not my point... The child widgets mean your actual MDI
children (excluding the toplevel window of each child). These children
turns out to be any of the toplevel containers like VBox.

You can pack these containers inside panes (these panes will be part
of main window). But all the ordering and visibility of those children
has to be handled by your code. But this kind of interface would
clutter the main window.

I couldn't draw out a picture of your expectations.. But I thought
these pane concepts would be helpful, if you have considered gdl as an
option (Since you couldn't use gdl).
