Not to mention DirectFB GTK which I still haven't gotten pygtk to work 
with yet (it looks like a gtk linking issue).

I actually think libglade is really key for RAD though.  I've been using 
pygtk for a while but I always got bogged down on trying to make the UI 
work by padding this cel or sticking an alignment here or there.  The 
glade tool, even though it's kind of rudimentary, makes a world of 
difference.
