[pygtk] destructors not getting called

I actually had --- and still have --- a problem similar to yours and
only after searching the docs for hours (HOURS I tells ya!) I found
this, not even sure if it had anything to do with the problem. But it
was the closest I could get.

Anyone else (gonna try Toshio's try/finally suggestion though :))
