[pygtk] ticker tape display.

Hi, I am trying to make a ticker tape type display with pygtk, and
looking at the canvas widget.

One ofthe things I am tyring to do is get the length in pixels of a
line of text placed on the canvas via the RichText featre of the
canvas widget.

Does any one know of a way to do this?  IS pango going to be any help?
