[pygtk] py2exe for linux??..

Hi colleagues,

I am writting to ask about compiling python scripts into "executables" 
programs. I found py2exe wich is a tool to convert python scripts into exe 
applications, however accordding what i read at :
http://www.py2exe.org/ it is only useful for windows...how can i create an 
"exe" to run in my suse linux distro?
