[pygtk] Column size in TreeView

Hi,
I have a TreeView with two columns. I want each column to have half the size of the TreeView. Iwas thinking to get the width of the TreeView and then resize each column, but I can't find a method to do it. 
I want to have each column with half the size of the TreeView because each row has a lot of text and I need to wrap it.
