[pygtk] How to make semi transparent window (not opaque)?

Hello,

Can somebody give an example, or point to some software sources, that uses
this technique?
I need to make semi transparent window with a png picture on it background.
Background picture - is a painted window with rounded corners and semi
transparent shadow around it.
How can I draw such a window using pygtk?
