I agree that on windows is slightly slower than on GNU/Linux but... do
you really need 200 spinbutton (or other similar widgets) in one
window?

I'm not criticizing your design but can't you simplify your GUI?

I couldn't find a way to increase the speed in a significant way, sorry :)
