[pygtk] minimize pygtk to tray

Hi all,
gtk.StatusIcon as you know is new in pygtk 2.10 there is any "old way" to do
it on pygtk lower then 2.10 ?
for example there is still users that use Fedora 4,5 and other old dist.

Any idea?
