[pygtk] Pickle treeview

Hey guys, 

I have another question for you.  If I have a treeview with columns
beeing (icon,text,text,text) how can I save the full list.  Doing some
reseach it looks like people use shelves or cPickles.  Does anyone have
an example I could take a look at?
