I hadn't thought of that - alternated rows doesn't seem to work under Windows.  I'll try that.

You're completely right, of course; I figured that out a little while ago. :)

One other question: there are still white gridlines between the rows and columns with this method.  There's no easy way to get rid of those and make each row a solid color all the way through, is there?
