[pygtk] tree chooser for --exclude -- include

Hello the list,

I'm wanting to do a GUI to help people using rsync, du, tar ...

I'd like to do something like:

First Question :
Is there a tristate widget toggle like the one showed in the chooser.png:

Second Question:
Do you know any good start for this
  - is there a project like this
  - is there some kind of python class to easily navigate in a tree of 
the files arborescence
  - any other good hints
