It's possible that you are seeing a known bug found in old versions of
gtk+. Please, have a look to the screenshot attached to the following
bug report [1], check if your gtk+ runtime version is up to date and
report here.

If you're seeing that same bug, it has been fixed in newer gtk+ versions
(>2.10).
