Yeah, I've done this a few times myself. Why isn't the (first created)
main winow visible by default, by the way? Could have saved me a couple
of hours.. ;)

To make your window visible:

- Start Glade and open your project.

- Open properties for your main winow, and go to the 'Common' tab.

- Set/toggle visible to 'Yes'.
