[pygtk] Placing Cairo contexts into a gtk.IconView?

Hi all

Is there any way of using the gtk.IconView class Cairo contexts instead
of Pixbufs?

I am working on a 'palette' of objects, each of which will know how to
draw itself using Cairo. I want to put these into an IconView so that a
user can drag the objects onto a 'canvas' and put them together to make
a diagram. Similar to Dia, Visio, etc.

Any suggestions? Any similar code that someone can point to?
