[pygtk] installing pygtk on cygwin

Please reply to the list instead of to my email address only. That way, this discussion will end up in the archives, and can be useful to others trying to use pygtk on Cygwin. Also, please be more specific; I still don't know how you are trying to import pygtk. It's best to simply copy and paste your commands and the output so we know exactly what's going on.
To get back to your question, you could check if all the files are in the location where Python expects them. For comparison, these are my installed pygtk files on Cygwin:
