I have been developing with python + GTK (native) on OSX for the last few
months.
I don't know if the most recent GTK Framework binaries on
www.gtk-osx.orgincludes pygtk, but the first one didn't. After a few
tinkering, I found out
that is much easier to download, compile and install both GTK and pygtk from
source (using the jhbuild script) than installing the GTK binary and then
having to compile pygtk from source.
I just followed the instructions on
http://live.gnome.org/GTK%2B/OSX/BuildInstructions (originally this page on
Imendio's site) and, after building GTK itself, just ran "jhbuild build
pygtk". Everything worked fine and it took me less than 15 minutes.
Cheers,
