[pygtk] How to get the actually size of widget?

Hi,

I want to adjust a Gtk.Image width with the width of the widget container.

I try to use size_request() method but it has the actually width.

Any way to obtain it? Or anyway to get GTk.Image fit width/heigth to adjust to widget container?
