[pygtk] [Gnome Panel] Expand applet

Hello everyone, 

I'm trying to make a gnome-panel applet with pygtk, and I wish it expands to all the remaining space on the panel. For the moment, it's just a simple gtk.Entry, and I don't manage to change its size, except with set_request_size, which is not approptiate.

Any idea of a way to let the applet occupies as much space as it can ?
