[pygtk] persistence gtk.view with shelve module

I don't have printv either;  when providing test it is best to make them
stand-alone and platform independent [you also create a path of D:\]

Attached is a copy of your test#2 that runs for me, but could you
explain how to test it - and should it open *three* windows when
started?
