Yeah I too found that the difficult part: no documentation. I would suggest to have a look at the nullege website. I have been a couple of times successful finding examples there.

Your best bet will be the C manual for the Nautilus bindings. Well, I
did/do so for all the bindings I use that use Gobject Introspection.
