Privacy and Confidentiality

The extension in December 2001 of the Privacy Act to non-government organisations (including the corporate sector) raised the importance of privacy for all organisations dealing with personal information.

Further amendments to the Privacy Act came into effect on Wednesday 12 March 2014.  These amendments replace the Information Privacy Principles and National Privacy Principles with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Data Analysis Australia has always followed the earlier principles and will continue to adhere to the APPs. Additional information on the APPs can be obtained from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, and this includes a quick reference tool and APP guidelines.

Our Privacy Statement provides information to clients and interested parties on how Data Analysis Australia protects their privacy and personal information.
