The Department of Industry and Resources is dedicated to assisting companies from throughout Western Australia to develop the domestic industry's capabilities and to increase exports. This includes assistance to the renewable energy industry.
The Department understands that the renewable energy sector is changing at a rapid rate in response to changing world markets, technology and consumer demands. To ensure the needs of the renewable energy industry are more accurately identified we are seeking comprehensive information on the sector. This will help the Department develop programs to assist the industry with its continued growth.
Data Analysis Australia, an independent statistical consultancy, is undertaking a survey on behalf of the Department. The attached questionnaire seeks information on your existing and proposed activities, your economic contribution (both sales and employment) and your innovation activities. This information will be used for internal purposes only and will be presented in an aggregated form to maintain the strictest confidentiality.
