Alyce is a medical scientist with a decade of applied experience in both academia and industry, specialising in biostatistics, bioinformatics and data analytics.  Her research programs were data-focused in the area of precision health and ageing, and she received the Research Medal for the School of Medical and Health Sciences in 2019; awarded annually to the student with the highest quality PhD thesis.  

Alyce has had numerous roles in research, statistical consultation, data management and analytics, survey design and implementation, teaching and supervision.  While her career focus has been primarily in health & medical sciences, Alyce has also provided key statistical and data analytic skills to several other industries, including psychology, agriculture, food science, transport and environment.  

She enjoys working with clients to solve their unique problems, applying sound statistical knowledge, and accurate and efficient coding.

Outside of work, Alyce is a mother to a very active teenage daughter and two kitties.  She enjoys socialising with friends, days at the beach, and Pilates.
