In 2018, Jordan completed a double major in Mathematics and Statistic and Botany at the University of Western Australia before going on to receive first-class honours in Mathematics and Statistics in 2019.

He enjoys learning about mathematical principles and applying that to solve problems in the real world. In particular, he has found interest in spatial statistics which his honours thesis was centred around. 

In the past he has applied this expertise when working at the research group AAGI within Curtin providing statistical solutions to problems in the agricultural industry, often dealing with spatiotemporal modelling problems and experimental design.

In his free time, he enjoys cooking, playing board games and rock climbing.
